Have you heard about Harland Sanders, the one who took every negative thing in his life to turn it into positive things. Abandoned by his mother and step-father, and a school drop out.
He acquired a service station in Corbin, Kentucky, and began serving classic Southern dishes to travellers. The location became known for its food. But soon he lost his service station as it was brought down to make way for a highway. He did not give up and said no to anything negative. At the age of 65 he took his cooking samples to different restaurants to taste, soon his creations became a top selling items in Kentucky and people started demanding his food more. He then made partnerships that failed and finally he established his own company. That company is now known as KFC – a world wide recognised brand.
Today he’s known in 115 countries for his favorite fried chicken recipe, which is more than he ever could have hoped for when he hit the road at age 65 with a car full of cooking supplies.
